The title refers to the idea of something lingering inside one's mind or body, even after the end of an experience, like the feeling of waking up from a dream. These forms began as a question I asked about humanity, the earth, and universes. I wondered about whether we assume too much about what we know, about whether in our pursuit to find the answers to our questions we do not look in the right places. Or even, maybe we cannot look in all the places to find answers because we are not equipped with the right tools. These forms began as an imagined universe where there are no hard lines or facts, where the answer is always escaping and changing. This constant search becomes a state of being one must learn to accept; it lingers within us.
